This gorgeous castle is located in in the Froidthier locality of Thimster-Clermont in Belgium. It is fully renovated with a swimming pool and in the heart of Herve country. It can accommodate 14 people in 7 bedrooms.

The castle is the best starting point for all walks and visits around the region. You can visit the neighbouring regions of Ardennes, Liège, Spa, Malmedy, Stavelot and its surroundings. Restaurants are close by barely 1 km away.

This house has a relaxation area that consists of a sauna, Turkish steam bath, bubble bath, shower and fitness equipment. All bedrooms have a bathroom and some of them also have a flatscreen TV. The swimming pool is heated for free on request from April to October.

Some history about the castle :
The town of Froidthier used to be prosperous thanks to its drapery fabric ran by the family Snoeck. It employed many workers. A violent fire burst in the 1888 and the fabric burned to the ground; the workers massively left to find work in the area or city of Verviers.
The Castle of Froidthier used to be a farm for several decades, up to the early 20th century. During the 2 world wars, the town people used to hide in its caves to escape the bombings. It was then owned by a private person who rented it out to families. It has been renovated in 2009 and transformed in a holiday house.
