Villa Buenavista is located at walking distance of the centre of town of Gerolstein. This friendly local village offers many bars, restaurants and many shopping area's.

- Peking Garden, chinese restaurant, offering good quality food for low prices.
- Poseidon, typical Greek dishes are served here. Also the traditional "ouzo" is server chilled.
- Hotel Calluna, for dining with a view. The panoramic terrace offers a great view over Gerolstein. Traditional meals are served here.
- True local food can be enjoyed at the "Schwarzbrennerei" (or Blackburners). Here you can enjoy a great German "Schnitzel" or other traditional meals.

- Lowenburgh. The ancient castle overviewing Gerolstein still is prominent. In the summer many theatrical performances contribute to the true "castle-feeling"
- Kasselburg, offers a series of bird-shows and live feeding of wild wolves.
- Moesel Boattrip, a great trip over the ancient river Moesel. This offers great view over the landscapes and relaxing atmosphere. Certainly a treat to the whole family.
- Gerolsteiner Sprudel factory. You can visit the famous factory and learn all about sprudel and how it is bottleted and distributed all over the world. 5 days a week a tour explains it all.
