Pozza di Fassa is een dorp op een hoogte van 1430 m. Het skigebied van Val di Fassa is gemakkelijk bereikbaar en wintersportliefhebbers kunnen hier hun hart ophalen. Er is 122 km aan pistes, 1082 km aan langlaufloipes en er zijn veel stoeltjes-, sleep- en cabineliften. In de zomer leent het landschap zich uitstekend voor mooie wandelingen en fietstochten. Het centrum van het dorp ligt op maar 600 m.

The Buffaure ski area boasts long slopes - the longest in Val di Fassa - departing from Buffaure at 2,050 metres and arrive down into the valley.
